You're amazing in bed
You're amazing in bed, you know, you know, you know
You're amazing in bed
And if I hold you and told you more than I ought to
Would you get me and snog me like fire on water forever
Forever
And when the morning came the sun shone
Through the window
Right between the eyes
Sex is love's disguise
It's a beautiful day
We should go make some hay, you know, you know
While the sun shines
It's a beautiful day
And if I hold you and told you more than I ought to
Would you get me and snog me like fire on water forever
Forever
And when the morning came the sun shone
Through the window
Right between the eyes
Sex is love's disguise
But I don't mind
It's you, I'm telling you so...
And if I hold you and told you more than I ought to
And you got me and snogged me like fire on water
I'd be your tiger (string bean), your mammoth (walnuts)
Like a steam train inside you forever, forever, and ever...

Quotes:
Dan: Amazing in Bed was a light-hearted song written just for the live set, before we had our record deal. We needed something quite light and groovy to give the hectic set some breathing room. On the album, it has a feeling of waking up in the sunny treehouse after the long spooky night. Listen out for our assistant engineer (Andy Green's) mountain bike wheels spinning round at the end of the verses. This was Stephen Street's favourite, and he put a huge amount of after hours work into it - he played the sitar on it, put some trumpets in, got that fat snare sound. We were really delighted by the amount of effort he put into this, and the warm sweet production speaks for itself.
